Quintessential Brass

 

Quintessential Brass formed through lockdown in 2020, largely due to one of the member’s obsession with arranging music for Brass Ensemble during this time. Rehearsals began in a back garden with very tolerant neighbours! The Quintet is now very busy performing in concert venues around the South East of England, alongside their varied orchestral and band commitments.

 

In 2025 they undertook their second tour of The Loire Valley. Apart from some beautiful churches, high up on the popularity ranking was a performance in a vineyard!

 

Quintessential Brass believes that Brass Quintets are best placed to bring the widest possible range of musical styles to many different audience types. (They are biased of course!)  The group perform a wide variety of styles, from classical repertoire through musical theatre, to pop and jazz.

 

With the programme they are bringing to the Festival they hope to entertain and have you all actively involved!
