Tilly and Friends

Tilly and Friends is a lively, vocal-led collaboration bringing together soprano Tilly Goodwin, vocalist Henry Derbyshire and pianist Tom Scott. For this programme they will be performing songs from the shows, delivering a feel-good set that celebrates musical theatre at its best: memorable melodies, clear storytelling, and the kind of chemistry that makes live performance feel immediate and personal.

At the centre is Tilly Goodwin, described as a “star of the future” and praised as a thrilling, multi-skilled performer. Her background spans opera, musical theatre and jazz, and she is currently completing her masters at the Royal Academy of Music on scholarship, bringing both vocal polish and real versatility to the stage.

She is joined by Henry Derbyshire, currently training at the Royal Academy of Music, whose work includes soloist appearances and a debut solo show at St Marylebone Parish Church in London. His experience across choral and staged performance brings added colour and character to the set, helping each song land as more than just a tune, but a moment with its own story and point of view.

Completing the trio is Tom Scott at the piano, a Royal Academy of Music pianist now pursuing a Fellowship, with a masters with distinction and dipRAM. Known as an accomplished collaborator, he supports the singers with musical sensitivity, style and momentum, shaping each number so it feels both secure and expressive, whether the mood is playful, romantic or full of drama.

Together, Tilly and Friends bring show songs to life with energy and warmth, moving between well-loved favourites and characterful highlights. Expect strong vocals, thoughtful phrasing, and engaging delivery, with the piano part treated as a true musical partner rather than simple backing. Whether you are programming a concert, a community event, or an intimate evening of entertainment, this trio offers a polished performance that still feels friendly, relaxed and full of connection.
